I wanted something that would have more fruit, yogurt and be a healthy drink.

Blue Ribbon Recipe

Both adults and kids will love this treat. The smoothie is rich, silky, and full of blueberry flavor. Blueberry pomegranate juice pumps up the blueberry flavor. The yogurt adds richness to the smoothie. It will be great for a light breakfast or an afternoon pick me up.

Ingredients For carol's blueberry yogurt smoothie

  • 1/2 c
    blueberry/pomegranate juice
  • 1 sm
    container blueberry yogurt, 6 oz.
  • 1/2 c
    blueberries, fresh or frozen
  • 2-3
    ice cubes
  • 1 tsp
    honey for some sweetness or 1 tsp of your favorite jam

  • Pouring blueberries into a blender.

    Place all ingredients into a blender.
  • Smoothie items in a blender.

    Blend until all is blended. Serve and enjoy!!
  • Smoothie in a glass with blueberries.

    Hint: Most any other fruits may be used with similar matching yogurts. juices, even white grape juice. I also like raspberry yogurt, raspberries, and cran-raspberry juice. Just tweak to your own likeness.
