I have been making this since about 1970 when our boys were young and it is enjoyed by young and old. For the last 14 years, we have hosted a children's gingerbread party at our home. It's messy but a lot of fun for all. We always serve this punch and the children start asking if we have it when they come in the door. Peppermint ice cream is sometimes hard to find. You can usually find it in the grocery stores in December. Here I buy it from an ice cream store called Kilwins. Kilwins Peppermint Ice Cream is better than what you find in the grocery, but the grocery store brand will work.

Blue Ribbon Recipe

Pour yourself a glass of this eggnog punch and you'll enjoy the ultimate flavors of Christmas. It'll transport you to the North Pole. The eggnog is fizzy mixed with the ginger ale. Melted peppermint ice cream swirls throughout the punch. Super yummy! Take a big gulp and you'll end up with peppermint foam on your nose... it'll make you feel like a kid again. It's a delightful punch kid's big and small will enjoy.
