i really like limes and i really like huckleberries- so last winter i had a craving for both and came up w/a new to me drink! When our Hero was home on leave last April we had a big family shindig and everyone really liked the drink from the Great Grand folk to the wee ones =)

    club soda
  • 6 oz
    huckleberry syrup [i use sugar free but, i keep regular on hand for my grands and folks that don't do sugar free]
  • 6
    limes, juiced [6oz.]

How to Make North Idaho Huckleberry Limeade


  1. Juice limes, add huckleberry syrup, ice if you like, pour in club soda, if you are blessed enough to have fresh or frozen huckleberries you may use them as. garnish. When i make this i pour out 12oz. of club soda then slowly pour in the ingredients already mixed together.
  2. If you are making single servings 1/2 lime and 1oz of syrup per 8-10 oz cup. Adjust to individual taste. The pictures are for 1 liter of club soda.
