I grew up on Iced Tea using this recipe. But we made it with sugar then. Being a Southern girl (okay, I guess I am too old to be called a girl.), I love Iced Tea –year round. True Southern Tea is served with a glass full of ice (Don’t serve it with just a couple ice cubes –like some restaurants do. “FILL” the glass with ice then pour the tea over the ice. As the ice settles down, you can add more ice to fill the glass. Southern tea is also really sweet. You can adjust the sugar (Splenda) to suit your taste. Just follow my other directions to a "T" & you'll always have great tea.
