Cold Brew Coffee
This is my favorite Dog Days of Summer breakfast drink...all.day.long.
Cook time is steeping time.
Photo shows it black, so you can get a good look. I like mine iced with a splash of cream. Serve this hot or iced. Very smooth.
How to Make Cold Brew Coffee
- Place coffee grounds into the canning jar and fill to the top with cold water. Stir and cover.
- Let sit undisturbed on the kitchen counter for 6 hours or overnight.
- Strain coffee through coffee filters placed in a strainer to remove grounds.
- Mix coffee concentrate with equal amounts of cold water (or to your own taste preference). Refrigerate extra coffee concentrate in the jar after you clean it out.
