When serving to children, replace rum with rum extract (2 tbsp).

3/4 cdark chocolate chips, add more if desired

1/2 cspiced rum

1/2 tspcinnamon

2 Tbspvanilla

How to Make Butterscotch Rum Homemade Hot Chocolate
- Place all ingredients in a saucepan and heat to medium, but not a boil. Whisk thoroughly.
- Lower heat to low and cover with a lid. Cook for 20-30 minutes.
- Serve with homemade marshmallows or a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream.
