Mulled Cider - Slow Cooker

With its beautiful aroma and subtle spicy flavor, this Mulled Cider is the perfect drink to sip during the Holidays to welcome in the New Year!

  •   2 medium
    cinnamon sticks
  •   1 tsp
    whole cloves
  •   3
    star anise
  •   4 c
    (1 liter) apple cider
  •   1 bottle
    (750 ml) dry red wine
  •   1/2 c
    orange juice
  •   1/2 c
    brown sugar
  •   1 large
    orange, sliced

How To Make

    In a cheese cloth, place cinnamon sticks, cloves and star anise; tie it with kitchen twine.
  • 2
    Place sachet in the crock and pour in apple cider, red wine and orange juice. Add brown sugar and orange slices. Set the heat on Low for 4 hours or High for 2 hours
