Ingredients
- 2 cardamom pods, lightly bruised
- 4 tablespoons ground coffee
- 4 cups water + some extra to allow for evaporation
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- prefered sweetener to taste
How To Make kahawa - ethiopian coffee

Step 1Bring water and cardamom pods to the boil and boil for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to a low simmer and add the ground ginger coffee and simmer 5 minutes

Step 2Take of heat and strain into cups. Sweeten if desired.
