I know it is not the Holidays .. But these little gifts can be given any time ..It is, still winter!! And it is snowing here now. Maybe for Valentines Day, or a Birthday. It makes someone.. a SPECIAL DAY! Children and older people love them also. Nancy...1/23/13

Ingredients For hot cocoa mug mix.. & a candy spoon

  • 1 box
    instant powdered milk...... box that makes 8 quarts
  • 6 oz
    jar powdered creamer
  • 2-lb box
    nestle quick mix
  • 1-lb pkg
    powdered sugar
  • mix all together. store sealed til ready to use.

    Type these directions (below).. Put 1/2 cup of mix in a plastic bag. So each cup will receive the 1/2 cup of mix. Fill cup with hot water. Stir. and give along with the ingredient packet in a pretty cup. A Christmas cup, A Birthday cup, etc. * Note: I find Christmas cups,at Good WILL during the year..very reasonable. Tie all with clear plastic wrap and a pretty red bow. Verse to put on a card: When it's so cold outside that you holler and whoop, It's time to bring out the snowman cup! Pour from packet into a mug. Add marshmallows too. Then throw in some candy Peppermint Spoons, for stirring, from the snowman to you. Now add some hot water and use the candy spoon to stir it. Sip slowely and soon you'll feel the warm winter spirit!

    How to: MIX all ingredients together. Store sealed in a plastic bag till ready make little packages for giving in a pretty cup.

    Bingo! I just had an idea... Dip a plastic spoon in melted chocolate.. not the handle. Then press crushed peppermint candy or crushed pepperment sticks into the covered chocolate on the spoon...wrap.
