    mug of cider
  • 1 1/2
    shots of rum
  • 1 Tbsp
    brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp
  • 1/4 tsp
  • 1 slice
  • 4-5
  • 1
    pat of butter
  • 1
    cinnamon stick

How to Make Hot Buttered Rum


  1. For each serving heat a mug of rum. While this is heating, add rum, brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg to mug and stir. Stud lemon slices with cloves.
  2. Pour hot cider into mug and stir well. Top with lemon slice and butter. Add cinnamon stick. Enjoy!
