Ran across this easy new punch, at Spark People. The original recipe is non-alcoholic. But, it has variations, including making it a cocktail. Chill time, not included in prep time.

Ingredients For sparkling pomegranate punch

  • 3 c
    pomegranate juice
  • 3 c
    orange juice
  • 3 c
    lemon-lime soda pop, like sprite
  • mint, for garnish
  • see variations, at the bottom of directions.

How To Make sparkling pomegranate punch

    Find a pitcher that will hold 9 cups of liquid. Refrigerate all liquids, prior to making. When ready to serve, pour all chilled liquids into the pitcher, and gently stir. Garnish with mint, if desired. Makes 9 servings of (8 ozs. each). Makes just over 2 quarts.

    Variations: Try Simply Orange with Pineapple, in place of plain orange juice. Or, use 2 cups sparkling water, 1/4 cup lemon juice, 1/4 lime juice; may want to add 1 Tb. sugar or sweetener, prior to chilling, in order to dissolve sugar easier. To make a cocktail, sub-in champagne or sparkling wine, instead of lemon-lime soda pop.
