This is a recipe I mixed up one summer day and enjoyed it very much. It is in a small herbal cookbook that I published a long time ago.
It is a simple tea to make which is very refreshing and is even better for you if you grow your own organic mint. Hope you enjoy ;)

fresh squeezed lemon juice
1 1/2 c
2 1/4 Tbsp
grated orange rind
kentucky colonel mint leaves, fresh
How To Make
Put tea, orange juice and lemon juice in a 2-quart pitcher.
In a saucepan, combine sugar, water and orange rind. Heat to boiling over high heat while stirring. After boiling for 5 minutes, remove from heat and add mint leaves to hot mixture. Stir well and then cover and let cool to room temperature.
Strain this mixture into the pitcher. Refrigerate. Garnish with mint sprigs and orange slices. Enjoy ;)
