Tea is very popular in the Middle East. This is one that I've been making for a long time and not only does it taste great it has a mild soothing quality. It's certainly nothing medicinal but a few peaceful mins in a day can't be a bad thing. The cooking time is for steeping.

Ingredients

How to Make Cinnamon Anise Tea

Step-by-Step

  1. In a small saucepan, combine all ingredients, except tea bags, and bring to a boil.
  2. Allow to simmer for three minutes.
    Strain.
  3. Pour liquid into serving cups with one tea bag each and allow to steep for three minutes or to desired strength.
  4. Serve hot.
