This one is very inviting on a hot afternoon but be careful .. it's a sneaker !! Easily made non alcoholic and still refreshing. This recipe makes about 5 cups. Use 1 oz Vodka per serving if you want the alcohol.

How To Make tipsy peach lemonade

  • 1
NOTE: This is such a great drink but it does not need to contain the alcohol. Make it alcohol free by omitting the liquor .. you won't be disappointed !
  • 2
Put diced peaches, sugar and water into a 2 qt pot. Bring to a boil. Lower heat and simmer until sugar is completely dissolved - approximately 10 minutes.
  • 3
Allow the mixture to cool to room temperature. Strain through a sieve, pressing to extract as much juice as possible, saving the extracted juice in a separate container. If you would like to use the pulp you can skip the straining procedure but it will be very thick.
  • 4
Stir lemon juice into the cooked juice - with or without the fruit. Ladle into a tall glass that has been filled with ice. Add vodka and stir.
  • 5
Garnish with fresh peach slices if desired.
