sangria

Recipe by

Super easy party recipe! You can alter the sweetness by reducing the amount of sugar. If blood oranges aren't available, use regular navel oranges. Because blood oranges are smaller, if you're using navel oranges, perhaps consider 4. Any red wine can be used here, and because you are blending a lot into it, it can be less than top notch. However, make sure it's good enough that you'd drink it on its own. (Box wine works really great here - merlot or red blends!) Because this needs to sit overnight to meld flavors, this is a perfect "make ahead" cocktail!
