Henry Ramos invented this cocktail at his New Orleans restaurant, Meyer's, in about 1880. The cocktail must be shaken until frothy, or you'll lose the whole point - which is the fizz.

1/2 mdegg white

1 Tbsplemon juice

2 ozhalf and half

4drops orange flower water
How To Make ramos gin fizz

1Half fill a cocktail shaker with crushed ice. Add gin, simple syrup, egg white, lemon juice, cream and flower water. Shake well and strain into a cocktail glass.
