Ingredients For kool-apple sangria

  • 1 pkg
    tropical punch kool-aid
  • 1 bottle
    red wine (i prefer cabernet)
  • apple juice
  • 1
    green apple, sliced
  • 1
    red apple, sliced
  • sprite (optional)
  • 1/4
    sugar

How To Make kool-apple sangria

  • 1
In a pitcher, dump in entire contents of Kool-Aid packet and about 1/2 cup of sugar and melt down with warm water and stir. Fill the pitcher about 1/4 of the way with cool water.
  • 2
Add half the bottle of red wine and then the rest of the pitcher with apple juice. (Be sure to taste test along the way since we all prefer different levels of sweetness and alcohol.) If it seems too strong, add water.
  • 3
Add some slices of apple and let chill before serving. (I keep some of the apples for garnish.)
  • 4
**If using sprite, I usually pour about a 1/4 cup before adding the sangria mix**
