If you like a good Bloody Mary, and you like them on the spicy/hot side, then give this mix a try. The heat is controlled by the horseradish, tabasco sauce, and the black pepper. If you like to calm it down a bit, work with those three ingredients. I have been making this mix for a long time, and it is always a hit with the spicy/hot group. So, you ready… Let’s get into the kitchen.

Why 22 ounces of tomato juice? Well, that might seem a bit odd; however, to make one of these babies you will need 4.5 ounces of mix to 1.5 ounces of vodka. When you add all of the ingredients up, you will have enough mix for 6 Bloody Mary’s, with just a bit left over.

This mix will store for a month or so in the fridge, or for a year in the freezer. Yes, you can freeze this mix.

Horseradish Do not confuse prepared horseradish, with the creamy horseradish sauce varieties. Prepared horseradish is basically grated horseradish, stored in a jar with white vinegar and some salt. We want heat in this mix and those creamy varieties just do not deliver. FYI: My favorite brand is Bubbies.

Worcestershire Sauce If you like the taste of this condiment, but do not like the fact that it is made with anchovies, here is a recipe that taste like Worcestershire, but without the fish. https://www.justapinch.com/recipes/sauce-spread/other-sauce-spread/diy-essentials-homemade-worcestershire-sauce.html?r=1
