A combination of rice, fruit, marshmallows and cream, this is traditional Swedish dessert and is a favorite at our house- my kids loved this growing up and still do!

Ingredients For heavenly rice hash dessert

  • 2 c
    mini marshmallows
  • 2 c
    cooked rice, chilled
  • 8 1/4 can
    crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1/2 c
    maraschino cherry halves
  • 1/4 c
    almonds, slivered and toasted
  • 1 c
    heavy cream
  • 1/ c
    granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla

How To Make heavenly rice hash dessert

  • 1
    Combine marshmallows, rice, fruit and nuts. Whip cream, gradually adding sugar and vanilla; fold into rice mixture. Chill.
