An easy way to serve your favorite taco ingredients. Layer them and bake! Very easy and you can add whatever ingredients you like! My son only likes taco meat and cheese, hence the "plain" appearance. Very versatile and very yummy! I would add tomato,guacamole and top with sour cream, but that is just me, ;) These turn out crisp on the top and wonderfully easy to cut and serve. VERY easy!

Ingredients For quasadilla pie

  • 4
    tortilla shells
  • butter to spread
  • 1/2 lb
    cheddar cheese,shredded
  • 1 lb
    prepared taco meat
  • any vegetables or addings you like!

How To Make quasadilla pie

    Preheat oven to 350. Butter a pie dish including the sides and rim. Make sure the pie dish is as wide as your tortillas.

    Layer into the buttered pie dish, a tortilla shell. Then spread 1/3 of the meat and cheese. If using vegetables, layer the second layer with your choice of vegetables. Layer with another tortilla shell. Repeat layering ending with the last tortilla shell. Butter this top shell with butter.

    Cover the whole thing with aluminum foil. Bake @ 350 degrees, for 25-30 minutes. Uncover, reset oven to 400 degrees, and bake an additional 15-20 minutes, until crispy and golden brown.

    Remove from oven and let stand about 10 minutes. Cut into 4 pie shaped pieces. Top with any toppings you like.
