This pie is very good. No...it does not taste like mashed potatoes. It has a custard pie taste. I usually use Pillsbury store bought crust instead of making one. What a delicious way to use up those extra mashed potatoes. This recipe came from one of my dearest friend and grandmother.

1 cmashed potatoes (extra from when you have them from dinner)

3/4 csugar

1/2 cmilk
-
1 tspnutmeg
-
1 tspvanilla
-
1 Tbspbutter melted
-
2eggs
-
1pie crust store bought or make your own
How To Make mashed potato pie

1Directions: Mix together all ingredients in a blender and pour into a deep pie crust. Sprinkle a little nutmeg on top of pie before baking.

2Bake at 350 for 45 minutes or until firm.
