Dark Chocolate Filled Cookies & Cream Pie
1refrigerated pie crust at room temp.
2 cdark chocolate sauce (my recipe on site) or jar dark chocolate sauce
2 cheavy cream
8 ozcream cheese softened
16oreo cookies crushed
8oreo cookies halved
How to Make Dark Chocolate Filled Cookies & Cream Pie
- Heat oven 450 degrees. Unroll pie crust and place in a pie dish. Pressing and crimping around the outside. Bake 10 to 12 minutes and then let cool completely.
- Spread the dark chocolate sauce onto the bottom of the pie crust. Set in fridge while preparing the rest.
- In a large bowl beat the heavy cream until stiff. Set aside In another large bowl beat the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Fold in the crushed cookies.
- Gently fold the heavy whipped cream into the cream cheese cookie mixture. Pour over the the dark chocolate on the pie. Place the halved cookies on the top. Refrigerate for 1 hour. Store in fridge
