My husbands grandmother baked for her sisters restaurant, The Cafe South in Milledgeville Georgia. This is one of their beloved desserts. Enjoy!

    sugar
  • 1/2 c
    ap flour
  • 1/8 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2 c
    melted butter

    eggs slightly beaten
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1 c
    chopped pecans
  • 1 c
    semi sweet chocolate chips

    9” frozen pie shell thawed

How To Make

    PREHEAT OVEN TO 325 DEGREES.

    MIX SUGAR FLOUR SALT & BAKING POWDER. ADD MELTED BUTTER EGGS AND VANILLA. BLEND WELL. STIR IN NUTS AND CHOCOLATE CHIPS. POUR INTO PIE SHELL.

    BAKE 1 HOUR AND 10 MINUTES. DELICIOUS SERVED WARM OR COLD! GREAT TOPPED WITH ICE CREAM!
