This is one of my most favorite of all pies. Of course feel free to top this with a little ice cream, for something extra special.

Ingredients For blueberry pie

  • 3 c
    blueberries
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 3 Tbsp
    all purpose flour
  • 1
    crust (for two crust pie)
  • 3 Tbsp
    water
  • 1 Tbsp
    lemon juice
  • milk, or cream (for brushing crust)
  • sugar for sprinkling on top crust

How To Make blueberry pie

  • 1
    Combine 1 cup sugar and 3 Tbsp flour. Mix well. Set aside Prebake pie crust bottom in 425 F oven for 5 minutes.

    Add berries, sprinkle with sugar-flour mixture. Drizzle on 3 Tbsp water and 1 Tbsp lemon juice. Cover with top crust, cut steam vents (slits in top crust)

    Brush on milk or cream and sprinkle with sugar. Bake in 425 F oven for 50 to 55 minutes, or until nicely browned.
