This is a quick and easy pie to prepare for picnics or family gatherings. It's one of my favorites....so easy to prepare and it tastes so good.

Ingredients For banana split pie

    graham cracker pie crust (9 oz. size)
  • 3
    bananas
  • 1 pkg
    8 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 1/2 c
    powdered sugar
  • 1 pkg
    3 oz. instant vanilla pudding
  • 1 c
    milk
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    pure vanilla extract
  • 1 c
    crushed pineapple, well-drained
  • 8 oz
    whipped topping
  • 1/4 c
    pecan chips
  • 9
    maraschino cherries, well-drained
  • chocolate syrup

How To Make banana split pie

    Line bottom and sides of the graham cracker pie shell with sliced bananas.

    Whip cream cheese, powdered sugar, instant pudding, milk and vanilla in a mixer until it is fluffy. Stir in the drained pineapple.. Carefully pile cream cheese-pineapple mixture into the pie shell.

    Top the pie with whipped topping. Sprinkle with pecans and place drained cherries on top of the nuts. Drizzle with chocolate syrup.

    Chill the pie for about 1 hour before serving. It's even better if you make it the day before serving it!
