This is a quick and easy pie for picnics or family gatherings. It's one of my favorites. So easy to prepare and tastes so good.

Ingredients For banana split pie

  • 8 oz
    cream cheese, softened
  • 1 1/2 c
    powdered sugar
  • 1 c
    milk
  • 1 pkg
    instant vanilla pudding (3 oz)
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    pure vanilla extract
  • 8 oz
    crushed pineapple, well drained
  • 1
    graham cracker pie crust (9 oz)
  • 3 md
    bananas, sliced
  • 8 oz
    whipped topping
  • 1/4 c
    chopped pecans
  • chocolate syrup
  • 9
    maraschino cherries, well-drained

How To Make banana split pie

    In a mixing bowl cream the room temperature cream cheese and powdered sugar. Mix until smooth.

    Slowly add 1 cup of milk mixing as you go.

    Add the instant pudding and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.

    Fold in the drained pineapple.

    Line the bottom and sides of the graham cracker pie shell with sliced bananas.

    Carefully pile the cream cheese-pineapple mixture into the pie shell. Top with whipped topping. Cover and chill the pie for a few hours before serving. It's even better if you make it the day before serving.

    Right before serving sprinkle with pecans and drizzle with chocolate.

    Top pie with a few cherries.
