This is a classic recipe that highlights apples. I have been making this easy treat for years. Top it with ice cream and whipped cream for a warm and wonderful delight!

  • 6
    medium apples,peeled and sliced
  • 2/3 c
    brown sugar (more if you like it sweeter)
  • 1/2 c
  • 1/2 c
    rolled oats (oat meal)
  • 3/4 tsp
  • 1/2 tsp
  • 6 Tbsp
    softened butter

How to Make Apple Crisp classic!


  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Grease an 8x8 baking pan.

    Place the sliced apples in the 8x8 baking pan.
  2. Blend the remaining ingredients together until mixture is crumbly.

    Spread it over the apples crumbling it to cover the top.
  3. Bake 30 - 35 minutes until top is golden brown.

    Serve warm with ice cream and/or whipped cream
