- STREUSEL TOPPING:

1 1/2 stickcold butter (cut into small cubes)

1 call purpose flour

6 Tbspbrown sugar

1 cquick cooking oats
-
1 tspcinnamon, ground
-
1/2 tspnutmeg, ground
- PIE FILLING:
-
1/2 cgranulated sugar
-
1/3 call purpose flour
-
1 tspcinnamon, ground
-
1/2 tspnutmeg, ground

1 Tbsplemon juice
-
1 cblueberries, fresh or frozen
-
1 craspberries, fresh or frozen
-
3granny smith apples (peeled, cored and sliced)

1frozen pie crust
How To Make apple berry pie with oatmeal streusel topping

1let a frozen pie crust defrost while you make the topping and the filling.

2Streusel topping: mix ingredients with a fork or pastry cutter until combined and crumbly.

3Pie filling: peel core and slice the apples, add 1 tablespoon of lemon juice and toss.

4Mix flour, sugar, cinnamon & nutmeg to combine.

5Do not defrost berries if you are using frozen, toss berries into sliced apples.

6Add Flour mixture and toss by hand until apples and berries are completely coated.

7Mound the apple berry mixture into your unbaked pie crust.

8Press the streusel over the top of the pie gently, making sure to cover most of fruit and packing it in gently.

9Bake on a cookie sheet or sheet pan at 350 degrees for 45-55 mins.

10Let cool and come to room temperature before cutting or serving.
