pkg. vanilla instant pudding mix
1 3/4 c
1 1/2 c
vanilla or white chocolate chips
fruit and sprinkles for garnish
original pretzel chips (more or less)

How to Make American Holiday Pie


  • 1Combine pudding and milk in a medium bowl and whisk until thickens.Set aside.
  • 2Cover the bottom of an 8 or 9-inch pie dish with the pretzel chips. Set aside.
  • 3Melt vanilla chips in a medium microwavable bowl and zap until melted using 30 second intervals and stirring after each zap until smooth and creamy. Pour or spoon carefully over the pretzel chips and smooth as best you can to the edge of dish.
  • 4Place pretzel chips around edge of mixture to form a crust.
  • 5Pour pudding on top of chocolate evenly. Chill for 30 minutes or more until chocolate and pudding has set up. Decorate with your favorite fruit and sprinkles just before ready to Serve and enjoy!
