my grand~kids cinnamon sweet french toast

For as long as I can remember, I have made these while on Camping Trips. Now, we make these more often and have for Breakfast, snacks and even as an evening meal. My grand kids likes to help me make them. And they never last for very long~ Ummmm!

Ingredients For my grand~kids cinnamon sweet french toast

  • 1 pkg
    white bread
  • 6
    eggs, beaten well.
  • 3 Tbsp
    cinnamon/sugar
  • 1/2 c
    milk
  • oil for flat skillet
  • non stick pan spray
  • powdered sugar

How To Make my grand~kids cinnamon sweet french toast

    In a bowl, beat the eggs and add milk, beat again.

    In a smaller bowl, mix together the cinnamon/sugar and powdered sugar together. I like to shake the bowl to even the spices. Dip the bread into the egg batter then into the spice bowl. Lay it on the skillet. Turn from side to side often to allow to brown and cook the egg, but not to burn or scarch.

    As the bread gets lightly browned, remove and dust with spices in bowl with your fingers. Lay onto a platter or plate. Continue till you have fixed as many pieces as you want.

    We make ours to go with fried Bacon. But even just by themselv es it is a Yummy dish for all ages!!!
