Macaroni Fruit Salad

Recipe from pastor's wife, after tasting it at a potluck fort our Women's Bible Study about 25 years ago. It has become a family favorite. Very similar to Frog Eye Salad but easier.

Stove Top


  • 3/4 c
    dececco acini di pepe macaroni
  • 1 20 oz can(s)
    crushed pineapple drained
  • 1 11 oz can(s)
    mandarin oranges drained (2t reserved)
  • 3/4 c
    white sugar
  • 2
    eggs, beaten
  • 1/4 tsp
  • 8 oz
    cool whip

How to Make Macaroni Fruit Salad


  1. Cook and drain macaroni
  2. Boil sugar, 2T reserved juice, eggs and salt. Cook and stir until thickened.
  3. Pour over macaroni combined with fruit.
  4. Refrigerate overnight. Before serving spread Cool Whip over top.
