·the cheapest, lightest, most nutritionally void loaf of white bread you can find (or a hearty variety works, too!)
·generic brand butter, salted or unsalted, it doesn't matter
·100s and 1000s (nonpareil sprinkles) (or chocolate sprinkles) (or white sugar)
How to Make Authentic Fairy Bread - Hagelslag
- Slather the butter a few centimetres thick onto the slices of bread. Cut off the crusts if you like. Make sure you spread the butter all the way to the crusts -- you want those 100s and 1000s to stick real good.
- Sprinkle the sugar generously onto the buttered bread, making sure there are no gaps.
- Eat fairy bread until you feel sick!!!!
