Ingredients For sangria pops

  • 1 c
    merlot (or other fruity red wine)
  • 1/2 c
    pomegranate juice
  • 1/2 c
    apple juice
  • 10
    strawberries, washed
  • 10
    blackberries, washed
  • 1/3 c
    blueberries, washed
  • ground cloves
  • ground cinnamon
  • ground allspice

How To Make sangria pops

    Wash berries and put them in a bowl. Smoosh them with a fork until they are broken up but still chunky. Pour wine, pom and apple juice into a container. Sprinkle a healthy 2-3 shakes of each spice into the liquid and stir. Give this a taste and adjust for personal preference.

    Divide the smooshed fruit between popsicle molds. Pour the wine mixture into the molds. If not using a popsicle mold, you can use paper cups. Insert sticks. Place in the freezer until solid.
