Root Beer Float (aka Black Cow)

Root beer floats are scoops of vanilla ice cream floating on a cup of frothy root beer. Frank Wisner invented the root beer float in the late 1800's. It was first known as a black cow.

To make a root beer float, add a scoop (or scoops) of vanilla ice cream into a tall glass of root beer. Don't add the ice cream first and then pour the root beer, because it will end up as a catastrophe.
