just my Grand daughter favorite snack on the run.So we made these for the holidays every body loved them.WE first made them into snack bars.AND i made some into balls.THEY ALL ARE GREAT AND EVERYBODY WANTED MORE. AND SHARING OUR LOVE AND MEMORIES GOES ON.love Grandmes

Ingredients For oatmeal almonds nutty balls

  • 1/4 c
    sliced almonds
  • 1/3 c
    honey
  • 2 lg
    eggs(whites)
  • 1/2 tsp
    ground cinnamom
  • 1/8 tsp
    salt
  • 1 1/2 c
    uncooked quick oats
  • 1/4 c
    walnuts, chopped

How To Make oatmeal almonds nutty balls

    PREHEAT OVEN350* PLACE almonds,and walnuts on cookie sheet;toast 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown.DON'T TURN OVEN OFF.

    COMBINE honey, eggs whites, cinnamom and salt in a large bowl;Mix well. ADD oats and toasted nuts,mix well...

    DROP by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased nonstick,cookie sheet. BAKE 12 or until lightly browned. Cool on wire rack.

    ENJOY IT AND ,and pack some for a walk or just a snack .SHARE some and make someone else smile. STORE unopened packages of nuts in a cool dark place. STORE opened packages in a airtight container in the refrigerator for six months or in the freezer for up to two years. BUT of course they never last that long,we make enough to share family and give some to our neighbors.And take some on long walks or natural walks. 1/10/2012
