Over the years I have tried a number of apple crisp recipes and this is my favorite. I love it because it is so easy and not much cleanup. It is easily divided to be just enough for two. When I use just two apples I make this right in a pie plate.

Blue Ribbon Recipe

If you like your apple crisps without oats, then this crisp is for you. It has a lot of crumb that covers and fills in-between the apples. When it bakes, it sort of creates a cobbler-like texture on the inside and a buttery crisp crumb on top. The mix of tart spiced apples makes this an awesome (and easy) apple crisp recipe.
