Cinnamon and apples. Mmmmm This recipe is from Betty Crocker. Who doesn't like the Impossible pies? Here's a double-the-goodness recipe that will serve 15. **I prefer to use sweet apples, like Fuji and cut back on the granulated sugar, or you can use sugar substitutes to make it good for diabetics.

- STREUSEL:

1 coriginal bisquick mix

1/2 cpacked brown sugar

1/4 cbutter or margarine

3/4 cchopped nuts
- FRUIT MIXTURE:

6 capples, sliced peeled tart (6 medium)

2 tspground cinnamon
-
1/2 tspground nutmeg
-
1 coriginal bisquick mix
-
1 cgranulated sugar
-
1 cmilk
-
2 Tbspbutter or margarine, melted

4eggs, beaten

1Heat oven to 350°F. Spray 13x9-inch pan with cooking spray.

2In a medium bowl, mix 1 cup Bisquick mix and the brown sugar. Cut in 1/4 cup butter, using pastry blender (or pulling 2 table knives through ingredients in opposite directions), until crumbly. Stir in nuts; set aside.

3In a large bowl, mix apples, cinnamon and nutmeg; spoon into baking pan.

4In a medium bowl, stir remaining ingredients until well blended. Pour mixture over apples. Sprinkle with streusel.

5Bake 45 to 55 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean and top is golden brown.

6Cool 30 minutes or until set before cutting into squares. Store in refrigerator.
