    cooked rice
  • 1 can(s)
    (12-oz) evaporated milk
  • 1 c
    milk, whole
  • 1/3 c
  • 1/4 c
  • 1 c
    raisins, dried cranberries, and/or dried cherries
  • 3 Tbsp
    butter, softened
  • 1 Tbsp
  • 1 tsp
    ground cinnamon

How to Make Old Fashioned Rice Pudding


  1. Lightly spray slow cooker with cooking spray. Set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, combine cooked rice, evaporated milk, whole milk, sugar, and the water. Stir in fruit, butter, vanilla, and cinnamon. Transfer mixture to the cooker.
  3. Cover and cook on low heat for 2 to 3 hours. To serve, stir gently and spoon warm pudding into dessert dishes.
