summertime mixed fruit cobbler

A few leftover blueberries, strawberries and a peach from other dishes I've made this past week was just the perfect amount of fruit for a cobbler. I added a little orange zest to the batter and tossed some cubed cream cheese in with the fruit. It was an amazing dessert! Hope you enjoy!

Ingredients For summertime mixed fruit cobbler

4 cfresh fruit (i used blueberries, strawberries and peaches)

2 Tbspsugar

1/2 cbutter
-
1 1/2 cself-rising flour

1 csugar

1/2 cbrown sugar

pinchsalt
-
1 tsporange zest, (optional)

1 1/2 cmilk
-
1 tspvanilla extract
-
3 ozcream cheese, cubed (optional)

cinnamon sugar
How To Make summertime mixed fruit cobbler

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Melt butter in a 9 x 13-inch pan as oven preheats being careful to not burn your butter. Once melted remove pan from oven.

2Clean and cut up fruit, sprinkle with 2 tbsp sugar and gently toss; set aside.

3In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, salt and orange zest. Add milk and vanilla; whisk until combined and no lumps.

4Pour batter into pan with melted butter; top with fruit and cream cheese. Sprinkle cinnamon sugar on top.

5Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes.
