I got this recipe from a friend in New Mexico back in the 80's and it's been a family favorite ever since!

Ingredients For pecan pie

  • 1/4 lb
    butter, melted
  • 1 lb
    brown sugar, light
  • 3
    eggs
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 3 Tbsp
    all purpose flour
  • 6 Tbsp
    milk
  • 2 tsp
    vinegar
  • 1 c
    pecans, in pieces
  • 1
    pie crust shell

How To Make pecan pie

  • 1
    Melt butter; set aside to cool. Mix flour and sugar together. Add milk and eggs, beat well. Stir in vinegar and vanilla. Add melted butter and nuts; pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake 300 degrees for about 1 hour and 15 minutes.
