I got this recipe out of an old fundraiser cook book from my Grandma's church. This is a very simple pie, but very delicious and it's always nice to share something sweet with a friend.

Ingredients For friendship pie

  • 2
    premade graham cracker crusts
  • 1 can
    crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 can
    sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 pkg
    plain gelatin
  • 1/2 c
    lemon juice
  • 1
    (12 oz.) container cool whip
  • 1/2 c
    chopped pecans, almonds or macadamia nuts (optional)

How To Make friendship pie

  • 1
    In a large bowl, dissolve gelatin into lemon juice. Mix in sweetened condensed milk. Fold in cool whip.

    Divide cool whip mixture into two graham cracker crusts and sprinkle with chopped nuts. Refrigerate for at least 12 hours.
