This recipe came from my mother. It's been in our family since I was a child. It is served every year at Christmas and Thanksgiving. It is moist and so GOOD!

stick of butter or margarine

How to Make Jew Bread

Step-by-Step

  • 1Beat eggs, brown sugar, vanilla extract, and butter until creamy. Slowly add the flour until all is incorporated. (Batter will be thick) add the cup of chopped pecans. Pour into a greased 13 x 9 pan. Bake for 35 minutes at 350 degrees.
