  • 1/2 qt
    good quality vanilla ice cream, slightly softened
  • 1 large
    ripe avocado
  • 1 Tbsp
    light rum
  • 1/4 c
    walnuts or hazelnuts

How to Make Ice Cream Dessert for St. Patrick's Day

Step-by-Step

  1. Scoop avocado into food processor. Process until smooth.
  2. Add the ice cream and rum to the puree, pulse 2-3 times until combined.
  3. Pour ice cream to serving size cups and freeze for 1 hour.Serve with whipped cream and nuts on top.
