These snowball cookies are a must for Christmas, New Year's and weddings. They are delicious and are very easy to make. I usually double the recipe because they tend to disappear quickly.

Ingredients For snowball cookies

2 stickbutter (16 tablespoons or 1 cup)

1/4 cpowdered sugar (plus extra 2 cups in a shallow dish/bowl for coating baked cookies)

2 tsppure vanilla extract

1 Tbspwater

2 call purpose flour

1 cchopped pecans
How To Make snowball cookies

1Preheat oven to 300 degrees F.

2Using electric hand mixer, cream together the butter and 1/4 cup powdered sugar.

3Add vanilla, water and flour and mix well with sturdy spoon.

4Stir in pecans.

5Using hands, form mixture into small balls and place on ungreased cookie sheets or cookie sheets lined with parchment paper.

6Bake at 300 degrees F for 25 to 30 minutes.

7Working quickly, roll in powdered sugar while still hot.

8Let cool, then roll in powdered sugar again.

9Store in an airtight container.
