My favorite peanut butter cookie recipe! This is the recipe, Mom made for us as kids! I always have the ingredients in the house to make this recipe. Simple, but really good.

Ingredients For peanut butter cookies

  • 1/2 c
    butter, softened
  • 1/2 c
    peanut butter
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1/2 c
    brown sugar
  • 1
    egg
  • 1/2 tsp
    pure vanilla extract
  • 1 1/4 c
    flour
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking soda

How To Make peanut butter cookies

  • 1
    Cream butter. Add peanut butter and beat with spoon. Beat in sugar, egg and vanilla.

    Add the rest of dry ingredients.
  • Press the cookies with a fork.

    Drop by teaspoon, and press with fork.
  • Just out of that oven!

    Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes, depending on your oven.
