Ingredients

  • 1/2 c
    coconut flour
  • 1/2 c
    cocoa powder
  • 1 c
    sugar substitute (swerve)
  • 2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 6 large
    eggs
  • 4 tsp
    pure coffee extract
  • 1/2 c
    coconut milk, or almond milk
  • 1/2 c
    water
  • 1/2 c
    coconut oil, melted
  • ·
    frosting:
  • 1 1/2 c
    granulated sugar substitute (swerve)
  • 1/4 c
    + 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1/2 c
    + 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 1/4 c
    + 2 tablespoons coconut or almond milk
  • 1 tsp
    pure coffee extract

How to Make Gluten Free Better Than Sex Chocolate Cake

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 350* Grease bottom and sides of 2 9" round cake pans; with coconut oil, set aside
  2. Sift together first 4 ingredients, then add the eggs,extract, milk, water. Beat with hand mixer until thoroughly mixed then add in slowly; the melted coconut oil and mix well
  3. Divide batter between the two pans evenly and bake for 22 min. or until top springs back when lightly touched, let cool
  4. Frosting: In a food processor or blender or coffee grinder; blend the sweetner until it is almost powder; then sift with cocoa together
  5. add the remaining ingredients to the cocoa powder mix and beat on medium speed with mixer until fluffy. This frosting will frost the middle and top of the cake... Enjoy!!
