This was the very fist cake I ever baked and I have loved it!

Ingredients

  • 3 c
    cake flour
  • 2 c
    sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 5 large
    eggs at room temperature
  • 3 stick
    butter
  • 2 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp
    lemon extract
  • 1 c
    7-up at room temperature

How to Make 7-Up Cake

Step-by-Step

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit
  2. Mix all dry ingredients together in a bowl
  3. Melt butter
  4. Mix extracts, eggs, butter and 7-up in a bowl on high until well mixed.
  5. Pour wet ingredients with dry ingredients in a large bowl. Mix until smooth...about 3 minutes
  6. Prep cake pan with butter & flour or Baker's Joy
  7. Pour cake batter into cake pan
  8. Place in oven and bake for 45 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
