1Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

2Mix butter with an electric mixer with a paddle until creamy then add your sugars, eggs, vanilla extract.

3Add dry ingredients into the creamed mixture using low speed until blended. Continue on medium speed for one or 2 minutes then add your pecans and chocolate chips on low speed or mix by hand at this point.

4Drop rounded teaspoons about 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly brown.
