Makes 4-5 doz. cookies
Ingredients
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 3 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- 12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips

Step 1Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Step 2Mix butter with an electric mixer with a paddle until creamy then add your sugars, eggs, vanilla extract.

Step 3Add dry ingredients into the creamed mixture using low speed until blended. Continue on medium speed for one or 2 minutes then add your pecans and chocolate chips on low speed or mix by hand at this point.

Step 4Drop rounded teaspoons about 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly brown.
