1 1/2 cbutter, softened

2 csugar

2eggs

1/2 cmolasses

4 call purpose flour

4 tspbaking soda

2 tspground cinnamon

1 tspclove, ground

1 tspginger powder

1 tspsalt

- PUMPKIN DIP

1 pkgcream cheese (8oz.)

1canned pumpkin pie mix (18oz.

2 cpowdered sugar

3/4 tspground cinnamon
How To Make spice cookies with pumpkin dip

1Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

2In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar, add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add molasses; mix well.

3Sift together flour, baking soda, cinnamon, ginger, cloves and salt. Add to creamed mixture and beat well.

4Chill overnight.

5Shape into 1/2" balls; roll in sugar. Place 2" apart on ungreased cookie sheet.

6Bake for 6 min. or until edges begin to brown. Cool for 2 mins. before removing to a wire rack.

7FOR PUMKIN DIP

8Beat cream cheese in a mixing bowl until smooth. Add pumpkin pie mix; beat well. Add sugar, cinnamon and ginger; beat until smooth.

9Serve with cookies. Store leftover dip in the refrigerator.
