I've been searching for something quick, easy, and delicious to bake on short notice..found a recipe and tweeked it a bit...hope u enjoy it as much as my kids and I do!!

Ingredients For soft choc-oat chip cookies

  • 3.4 oz pkg
    vanilla instant pudding
  • 1 c
    butter, softened
  • 1 c
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 2 md
    eggs
  • 2 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 2 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 c
    semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 c
    oats, uncooked

How To Make soft choc-oat chip cookies

    Pre-heat oven at 350 degrees. In large bowl mix together butter and brown sugar until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla and mix until smooth. Add baking soda and pudding mix and againg mix until smooth. Add flour and oats until creamy and forms cookie dough consistency. With a wooden spoon mix in chocolate chips.

    Drop spoonfull cookie dough onto ungreased non-stick cookie sheets and flatten to your liking as the cookies do not flatten much on their own. Bake for approx 12 minutes or until edge of cookie is lightly browned. Leave on cookie sheet for at least 2 minutes before transferring to cookie rack to allow cooling completely...ENOY!!
